About Ethos Universitas and Honorary Companionship

Ethos Universitas is a global alliance of universities and higher education institutions committed to fostering academic integrity, responsible governance, sustainable development and ethical engagement. It is facilitated by the PCU Committee, associated with Panathlon International.

Membership as an Honorary Companion is voluntary and non-competitive. Institutions are not ranked; rather, they join by affirming a shared commitment to values.

By joining as an Honorary Companion, an institution receives:

• • • Official recognition in Ethos Universitas communications and platforms
    • The right to use the Ethos Universitas Honorary Companion seal
    • A certificate of recognition
    • Access to a rector-to-rector or institutional network
    • The ability to propose or enter initiatives in the Ethos Universitas Award
    • Opportunities to have projects or programmes featured internationally

The annual contribution of €250 is symbolic and is intended only to support the continuity of the initiative — it is not a barrier to membership.

Use of the Ethos Universitas Seal/Badge

As an Honorary Companion, PSBU is entitled to display the Ethos Universitas Honorary Companion seal in our institutional communications, printed materials, digital platforms (e.g. website, brochures, reports) in accordance with usage guidelines provided by Ethos Universitas.
We will place this badge prominently — for example in our website’s “Affiliations / Partnerships” section, and on pages that describe PSBU’s institutional values, so visitors can immediately recognise our ethical commitment.

Looking ahead: embedding ethics into PSBU life

This affiliation is not merely symbolic; it is a catalyst. Over time, PSBU will integrate ethics more deeply across all operations and programmes. Our plans include:
