As an academic deeply passionate about education and committed to fostering international collaboration, I am honored to introduce myself as the International Academic Director at Preah Sihamoniraja Buddhist University (PSBU). With a diverse background in education and a profound admiration for PSBU’s mission, I am thrilled to contribute to the university’s continued success.
My journey in education has been guided by a dedication to excellence and a belief in the transformative power of learning. From my early days as a classroom teacher and Head of School to my current role as Director of Institutional Accreditation with the International Education Accreditation Council (IEAC), I have consistently sought to expand my horizons and engage with diverse perspectives. These experiences have provided me with a unique set of skills and insights that I am eager to bring to the PSBU community.
One aspect of PSBU that resonates deeply with me is its commitment to providing fully funded scholarships to students across Cambodia. This inclusive approach to education aligns closely with my own values and aspirations. I am inspired by PSBU’s dedication to making quality education accessible to all, regardless of background or circumstance.
In addition to its commendable scholarship program, I am impressed by PSBU’s efforts to enhance its international profile through memberships in prestigious associations such as the International Association of Universities (IAU), the Accreditation Committee of Cambodia (ACC), and ASIC UK. By actively seeking accreditation and collaborating with institutions worldwide, PSBU demonstrates a strong commitment to academic excellence and global engagement.
PSBU also strives to create an environment that welcomes international students and encourages global collaboration. The university recognizes the invaluable contributions that international students bring to its diverse academic community, enriching the learning experience for all. Moreover, PSBU extends an invitation to students, faculty members, and departments to engage in collaborative international projects. By partnering with institutions and individuals from around the world, PSBU aims to broaden its scope of knowledge and deepen its global impact.
Furthermore, PSBU is eager to establish Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with international organizations and businesses looking to expand their presence in Cambodia. These collaborations not only facilitate knowledge exchange but also promote cultural understanding and cooperation on a global scale. As PSBU’s International Academic Director, I am enthusiastic about facilitating these partnerships and supporting the university’s mission to shape the future of education in Cambodia and beyond. Together, we can build bridges across borders and create a brighter future through education and collaboration.
