The PSBU Foundation, under the esteemed guidance of His Excellency Ven. Bour Kry, Rector of Preah Sihamoniraja Buddhist University (PSBU), is unwavering in its mission to make education accessible to disadvantaged students across Cambodia, with a particular emphasis on isolated and remote rural areas. The foundation recognizes the unique challenges faced by these students, such as geographical isolation, financial hardship, and limited access to educational resources. In response, it is dedicated to empowering these students to achieve their higher education aspirations and unlock their full potential.
The foundation is set to implement a series of transformative initiatives aimed at improving educational access for rural students. One of its primary efforts involves deploying English teachers to remote areas, providing vital language skills that are essential for academic and professional success in an increasingly globalized world. In addition to language education, the foundation will distribute school bags, exercise books, stationery, and other essential learning materials to ensure that students have the necessary tools to thrive in their educational pursuits.
Beyond providing resources, the PSBU Foundation is committed to fostering inspiration and mentorship within these communities. Native speakers and educators will visit rural villages, offering guidance, encouragement, and hands-on learning experiences.
