PSBU Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 1)

No Poverty

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) proposed by the United Nations form a universal blueprint aimed at achieving a more equitable, peaceful, and sustainable world by 2030.

Summary of SDG 1 No Poverty

The first goal aims to eradicate poverty in all its forms. Over 700 million people still live in extreme poverty, surviving on less than $1.90 per day. The SDG targets focus on ensuring equal access to resources, economic growth, and building resilience to climate-related and social disasters, particularly for vulnerable groups like women and children. It calls for universal social protection systems and sustainable livelihoods to eliminate poverty.

How can this SDG 1 be applied at PSBU?
