The Faculty of Philosophy, Religion & Law represents the intellectual and ethical foundations of Preah Sihamoniraja Buddhist University. The faculty brings together Buddhist Studies, philosophy, religion, law, public administration, criminal justice, politics, economics, psychology, environmental planning and hospitality management, providing students with opportunities to explore the relationship between knowledge, ethics, society and human wellbeing.
With Buddhist thought providing an important foundation, the faculty encourages students to develop critical thinking, ethical awareness and a deeper understanding of the social, cultural and institutional issues that shape contemporary Cambodia and the wider world.
Students can pursue areas of study including Buddhist Studies and Economics, Environmental Planning, Psychology, Hospitality Management and Politics, as well as Philosophy, Buddhist Philosophy, Public Administration, Private Law and Criminal Justice.
The faculty is committed to developing graduates who can contribute responsibly to public life, professional organisations, communities and society. Through an interdisciplinary approach, students are encouraged to combine intellectual knowledge with ethical judgement, social responsibility and an appreciation of the principles of compassion, consciousness and wisdom.
