PSBU International Support Center

PSBU International Support Center

A dedicated contact point for international students, international academic engagement, student services, and cross-cultural connection.

About the Center

The PSBU International Support Center provides coordinated support for international students and international academic activities. The Center offers online access to information, orientation and student-service guidance, academic and language-support referrals, event information, and contact with designated support staff. PSBU currently runs its international programs online; immigration and visa assistance is therefore not offered as a current Center service. Relevant guidance can be developed when onsite international programs are introduced.

Objectives and Aims

– Provide a clear and responsive support point for international students before, during, and after enrolment.

– Coordinate international student information, orientation, administrative guidance, and referral to relevant PSBU units.

– Promote intercultural engagement, belonging, student participation, and access to academic and language-support opportunities.

– Maintain accurate service records, event evidence, student feedback, and improvement actions.

International Student Support Services and Evidence

The following evidence register summarizes the current availability of key international-student support services and identifies the most appropriate supporting documentation or web evidence for publication and institutional reporting.

Service / Requirement Evidence / Web Link Evidence Note
International Support Center / International Web Presence
Official PSBU domain and active institutional international page. For the strongest evidence, the dedicated International Support Center content should also be published as its own PSBU webpage.
Events for International Students (welcome/freshman activities, cultural exchange, future buddy programme)
The supplied page is a third-party listing/mirror, so it is suitable only as secondary evidence. It does not by itself establish a specific Freshman Day or Buddy Programme. Use an official PSBU webpage or official PSBU social-media event post, dated photographs, attendance records, agenda, or event report as primary evidence.
Language Support Classes / Language Competency Courses
Official PSBU page. The Leadership Academy explicitly provides language, communication and leadership development and lists an International English Proficiency Program covering reading, writing, listening and speaking.

How to Access Support

  1. Use the online enquiry form or designated Center email and select the enquiry category.
  2. Provide the student name, programme, student identification number where available, and a concise description of the support needed.
  3. The Center acknowledges the request, assigns it to the responsible staff member, and records the referral or action taken.
  4. Complex academic, financial, safeguarding, or administrative matters are referred to the authorized PSBU office and tracked to closure.
