About the Center

The PSBU Career Center supports students in planning their careers, strengthening employability skills, and preparing for internships and employment. Through individual and group advising, CV and cover-letter guidance, interview preparation, job-search support, professional-development workshops, employer engagement, and career events, the Center helps students make informed choices and move confidently from study to work.

Objectives and Aims

– Provide accessible individual and group career guidance for students across PSBU.

– Develop practical employability skills, including CV writing, interview performance, workplace communication, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving.

– Connect students with employers, internships, employment opportunities, workplace exposure, and career events.

– Monitor career-service participation and use feedback to improve graduate employment readiness.

Career Advising
Individual and group sessions covering career interests, career pathways, goal setting, further study, internships, and employment planning.

CV, Resume and Cover-Letter Support
Practical support for preparing clear, targeted application documents and presenting academic, professional, and transferable skills.

Interview Preparation
Guidance on interview research, question handling, professional communication, confidence, and post-interview follow-up.

Job-Search and Opportunity Support
Access to career-related information, internship and employment opportunities, and guidance on effective job-search strategies.

Employability Workshops
Skills-based sessions in workplace communication, teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, digital professionalism, and professional conduct.

Employer Engagement and Career Events
Employer talks, workplace exposure, networking, and career-fair activity. PSBU plans to hold its 2026 Career Fair in October.

How to Access Support

Students may request an individual or group advising session through the Career Center contact channel or appointment form.
Before an appointment, students should identify the support needed and, where relevant, bring a current CV, cover letter, job advertisement, or list of career questions.
The advisor records the session topic and agreed follow-up actions. Personal information should be handled under PSBU privacy and record-management requirements.
Workshop and event registration should be available through a simple online form, with attendance and feedback recorded for quality improvement.
