PSBU Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 12)
Sustainable Cities and Communities
The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) proposed by the United Nations form a universal blueprint aimed at achieving a more equitable, peaceful, and sustainable world by 2030.
Summary of SDG 14 Life Below Water
Goal 14 aims to conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas, and marine resources. The ocean covers over 70% of the Earth’s surface, but pollution, overfishing, and climate change threaten its health. This goal promotes the protection of marine ecosystems, regulation of fisheries, and reduction of marine pollution. It also encourages greater global cooperation in the management of the high seas.
